The Ducky ONE 2 SF gaming keyboard shines with a very minimalist exterior and a mixture of new features and proven design concepts. The usual reliable Cherry MX switches are used and are combined by Ducky with PBT double-shot buttons. The feature package is packaged in a slim, black and white housing without a numeric keypad with a very narrow and stylish frame and rounded off with an RGB LED backlight.

Cherry MX Blue switches are used in this version of the Ducky ONE 2 SF. These are very tactile and, in addition to a very precise switching point, also give you a noticeable and audible click. This means that they are primarily switches that are ideal for prolific writers. Typing becomes a pleasure with these key switches. Gaming is also possible with the Cherry MX Blue switches at a high level.

The housing of the Ducky ONE 2 SF gaming keyboard is two-tone: while the top is black, the frame and bottom of the keyboard are white. The keycaps are made of polybutylene terephthalate, or PBT for short, are manufactured using the double-shot process and are significantly more durable than keys made with ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene).

The highlight of the Ducky ONE 2 SF gaming keyboard is without a doubt the professional RGB LED lighting, with which practically unlimited design options can be realized. It offers a total of twelve different lighting modes, one of which is more unusual than the other. The special highlight of the Ducky keyboards is the completely software-free configuration of the RGB lighting. All settings and changes can be made using different key combinations.
Functions & features of the Ducky ONE 2 SF gaming keyboard
The very popular mechanical Cherry MX switches are almost "unbreakable" and, depending on the switch used, ideally suited for the individual gamer types. Thanks to USB-N-Key-Rollover, any number of keys can be pressed simultaneously without "ghosting" or other delays. The 1,000 Hz report rate of the USB connection is helpful here, as it sends data from the keyboard to the PC every millisecond. There is a USB Type-C socket on the keyboard, into which the removable cable is inserted, which has the typical Type-A plug at the other end. Also comfortable are the two rubber feet on the back, which are height adjustable in three steps.

The powerful ARM-M3 micro controller of the Ducky ONE 2 SF controls and stores the selected LED effects. In addition, it optimizes communication between the keyboard and the PC while at the same time enabling additional functions, including the use of macros and the profile memory. In addition to multimedia functions, Ducky Macro V2.0 also enables the mouse pointer to be controlled using the keyboard.

In contrast to the even smaller ONE 2 Mini (60%), this keyboard layout only lacks the number pad, the insert key and the block with the print, numlock and pause keys. The entire row of F keys is also not available. The arrow keys are next to the delete key and the scroll keys. All missing keys have been integrated into the remaining keys and can be activated with the Fn key. This TKL-Mini SF or 65 percent layout results in an extremely portable and light keyboard.
